Robert loved the outdoors, including riding his bicycle for fun and transportation. Tragically, Robert was shot and killed in Kansas City while riding his bicycle home from work. This website honors his life's achievements and recognizes the many people whose lives he touched.

This is the place where we can keep you up to date on new developments in the case and offer you a forum where your voice can be heard.

December 11th - Sentencing of Fabian Brown at downtown Kansas City Court House (415 East 12th St.) at 10am. Judge Jay A. Daugherty. Division 13.

October 10th - Rahael Willis is sentenced to 15 years in prison for the murder of Robert Osborn. Judge Jay A. Daugherty. Division 13.

9/31/08 - UPDATE  - Fabian Brown pleads guilty to 2nd degree MURDER of Robert Osborn.

8/01/08 - Raheal Willis pleads guilty to 2nd degree MURDER of Robert Osborn.

May 14th, 2008 - Ride of Silence in Brookside, MO. Starting at 6:30pm we will gather and a short prayer and a list of those who have died while riding their bicycle. Please join Robert's family in this memorial ride. Even if you do not ride a bicycle, join us in his memory.

Nov. 20, 2007- 2 years have gone by and suspects are in jail awaiting trial.

Summer of 2007 - Osborn Family honor Robert with Street signage along 47th St. and Blue Ridge Blvd. with street signs "Robert Osborn Way" in several locations. This is the route that Robert took home from work and back, and where he was brutaly murdered for sport by suspects Fabian Brown and Raphael Willis.

April 14, 2007 - Osborn Family makes donation to Missouri Bicycle Federation. An advocacy group for safe biking on Missouri roadways.

May 16, 2007, 7pm - Ride of Silence in Brookside, MO. Brothers of Robert Osborn bicycle ride in the Ride of Silence. (Please join us in rememberance of our brother/son).

November 20, 2006 - This marks the one year anniversary of the murder of Robert Osborn. A vigil will be taking place at 47th St. and Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO, at the Blue Vue Shopping center parking lot at 6pm - 9pm. All are invited for this evening of rememberance.

May 17, 2006, 7pm - Ride of Silence.

On May 17 (Robert's birthday) at 7 p.m., the Ride of Silence will begin in North America and roll across the globe. Cyclists will take to the roads in a silent procession to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways. Although cyclists have a legal right to share the road with motorists, the motoring public often isn't aware of these rights, and sometimes not aware of the cyclists themselves.
